dc.title.alternative ACT ABSTRACT In this thesis, hardfacing was applied to the base material S355J2+N by using the cored wire electrode MAG welding method. The wear resistance, hardness values and micro-macro structures of the samples were compared in the hardfacing process using the same cored wire electrode and different pass (HARDCOR 600G). A pin-disc wear test device was used in the wear tests. Wear tests were carried out under constant load at different distances. SEM-EDS results were obtained. Chemical compositions were determined by EDS analysis on the hardfacing metal part of the samples. The change in hardness of the samples on the surface of the weld metal was determined by microhardness measurement. Light metal microscope was used for microstructure evaluation. The relevant samples in this study were prepared in accordance with the standards and the evaluations were made according to the appropriate standards. By comparing the welded parts, metallographic and wear processes were performed in the analysis, the hardness test, macro-micro structure and wear test (SEM-EDS and 3D Profilometer) amounts were compared. The obtained results were evaluated in terms of wear resistance, micro and macro hardness, micro and macro structure and comparisons were made. Keywords: Metal Active Gas, Metal Cored Wire, Hardfacing Welding, Mechanical And Macro-Microstructure EFFECT OF DIFFERENT SIZED CARBIDES FORMED DURING SOLIDIFICATION OF HARDFACING WELDS ON WEAR AND HARDNESS PROPERTIES tr_TR
